Commissions

Commissioning works of art is of course a more involved procedure than simply ordering copies of already made artworks. It involves a thorough mutual understanding of what is desired and required between you and me.

The costs involved and other practical details will therefore have to be decided only when once a correspondence has begun. If, by seeing my work here or in person and by reading my intentions as an artist, you indeed feel that you would like to commission a work of art, either for yourself as an individual or for your organisation, do not hesitate to contact me.

Now, if you’d like to go ahead with this, I should also like to mention that apart from having pictures made, you may also commission quite other kinds of artistic projects. As examples, writing- poetry and otherwise-, designing logos for organisations (samples below), creating whole websites (for instance, as my own: arjunjain.injohnruskinmanufactory.co.inarjunjainblog.wordpress.com; or as writer Cat Weatherill’s catweatherill.co.uk), manufacturing various kinds of utilitarian products (samples below), providing consultancy on architectural and works related to the exterior and interior designs of individual rooms or whole buildings (samples below)- are commissions I have taken up previously, and shall very much like to take up again. Besides these, as ought to be clear from my CV, I hold especial interest in languages, have lived in and travelled abroad, and as go those ordinary jobs (construction-labouring, salesmanship, cleaning, lumberwork, waiting tables, gardening etc.) of ordinary life (which are, in fact, rather extraordinary), them have I also never shied away from.
